Situated on the bank of the prestigious River Waveney alongside an alluring grade II listed watermill, you will be filled with wonder as you enter our Captain Cook Canoes site.
We are just a 35-minute drive south of the city of Norwich, located in the restful village of Wortwell, Norfolk. The local area is privileged with an abundance of beautiful dog-walk routes through heathland and forestry making it an ideal location to spend a few days away with the family and pets. We offer on-site accommodation at The Wortwell Mill Granary for guests wishing to spend more than a day out on the river and extend their countryside getaway.
However, please note that pets are not permitted at the launch site and cannot join in with canoeing activities. We apologise in advance for this.
We can be found at the end of a private farm track on the left-hand side as you approach Low Road from the centre of the village of Wortwell.
